The much-anticipated Manchester United 1990-2023 remake collection is expected to launch in the near future, with a release date of the latter half of April or the beginning of May 2023.
Adidas hasn’t been shy about digging into its archives over the past several years to find many of its most loved clothing items of the past. In the year 2000, they brought back Man Utd’s 1990 goalkeeper and home kits and various other items from their lifestyle collection and they’ve repeated the feat.
This time they’ve replicated United’s blue third kit that they wore from 1998 until 1990.
MANCHESTER UNITED 1988-1990 THIRD KIT REMAKE
The replica is an official Manchester United Football Club 88-90 third jersey, which was designed by Adidas.
This Adidas Manchester United 1988-89 third shirt redesign is true in design to its original. Blue with a shiny jacquard stripe design, the initials MUFC are repeated on each stripe. White piping highlights the raglan cut and complements the Adidas brand on sleeves.
The collar’s overlapping v-neck is adorned with black and red details around the edges. both the Adidas as well as Sharp logos and the club badge are appropriate for the era.
