Arsenal as well as Emirates have announced a new extension of their partnership. This is the longest-running front-of shirt sponsorship of the Premier League history. This partnership was announced in the summer of 2006 and continues for at least 2028 making it a minimum of years of partnership.
Emirates is an integral aspect of Arsenal’s story and is featured on the front of the women’s and men’s jerseys, as well as academy teams along with the name of the stadium from the time it was opened in. The club has also played a key role in bringing the club into contact with worldwide supporters via preseason tour as well as campaigns such as “Global Gooners.’
To commemorate this historic collaboration, a documentary was released that highlights those memorable moments from Emirates Stadium that symbolize the force of the connection among Arsenal as well as Emirates.
Today’s extension puts the shirt sponsorship contract into line with the stadium agreement, which was in effect until 2028 prior to. Kit sponsorships could have ended in 2024.
Arsenal has not released specific financial figures for the partnership renewal to Emirates. It is however expected to represent a significant increase over the deal that was that was signed in the year 2018, which was reported to have earned the club PS40 millions annually.
