VfL Bochum 1848, one of the oldest sporting clubs located in Germany celebrates the club’s 175th anniversary this year. This year’s celebration is celebrated by an Legends Game, exhibitions, and even a special shirt.

The Bochum 175-year anniversary jersey can be viewed in the first time ever at the Legends game, and another occasion a week later during competition at the home match against Frankfurt on 16th September 2023.

The Football Department has existed from 1938. The THS Sports Club since 1848VfL Bochum is an German sporting club that was founded in 1848. The word “VfL” stands for “Verein fur Leibesubungen” that is a German word meaning “club for physical exercises”. The football club has been around since 1938.
