Exclusive: Adidas to Introduce Significantly Enlarged Logo on Football Kits

In an ominous move, Adidas will introduce a important change to their soccer kits in the 2024-23 season as well as beyond.

Adidas recently shifted their focus to an updated Three Stripes only brand, and they’ve decided to make this brand be noticed more.

The 2024 Argentina kit will come with the larger Adidas logo.

FIFA ALLOW MANUFACTURING LOGOS OF UP TO 20CM2

According to reports from Footy Headlines, Adidas are scheduled to release a substantially bigger logo on the kits for their soccer players. The logo to be unveiled will be about 35% larger than the one currently in use, making use of FIFA’s permission for logos that are manufactured up to 20cm2.

It is odd the fact that FIFA seems to grant Adidas an unfair advantage in what size their logo is calculated. The top portion of the Adidas logo does not make the cut.

Conversely, Nike’s logo is perceived as it’s a “Square”, while you might argue that it’s in fact an actual triangle. If it’s viewed as a triangular shape, the Nike logo may be twice its dimension.

The new logo with a larger size will be featured on the entire range of Adidas 2024 international kit, and the other kits for football beginning in 2024, which includes the jerseys 2024-2025.

It is expected that the Adidas 2024 training kits are expected to feature an additional Adidas logo. This will be not allowed according to FIFA Equipment Rules for on-pitch kit.

What do you think about Adidas expanding their logo size?
