A lot of English soccer clubs are supporting the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal 2023 by wearing poppy-themed shirts to commemorate Remembrance Day this and next weekend.

In 2023, the British Legion Poppy is different than prior year. This is the first time that it has a date that runs from 2023. The previous poppies did not have any year.

The public already has a peek at the 2023-2024 Poppy football kits. The thing that is peculiar is the fact that Liverpool have released photos on their site that feature Virgil van Dijk wearing a other poppy but without the date. The question is the Poppy Liverpool will wear in the game – women’s wear the outdated Poppy.

The used 2023-2024 Poppy football kits are auctioned off by Match Worn Shirts, who have an online site specifically to host the 2023 British Poppy Appeal.

If you are unable to pay for the matching shirts or would prefer the poppy on your standard shirt, then you could buy 2023’s British Poppy via Subsidesports for less than 4GB. They are also selling the Poppy that is already attached to a variety of 23-24 kits.
