Hollywood actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson dressed as England’s legend of football when the actor wore an official David Beckham shirt for Halloween. The controversy began following the incident when The Rock dressed in the faux Manchester United shirt.

The Rock uploaded images of him wearing Beckham 7 on his Instagram page. Beckham 7 shirt on his personal Instagram account in celebration of Halloween. The fans immediately realized it was an obvious counterfeit Manchester United shirt, with the absence of an Adidas logo printed on the front.

Alongside putting on an incredibly tight Manchester United kit, Johnson also wore a wig that look like the hair of long, blonde Beckham did when he was playing with Real Madrid.

BUT MANY PEOPLE CRITICIZED JOHNSON’S JERSEY, WONDERING WHY A TOP HOLLYWOOD STAR COULDN’T WEAR THE AUTHENTIC KIT.

The reason for this is simple. The Rock isn’t wearing an authentic Adidas Manchester United kit could be that The Rock has a huge collaboration in Under Armour. Therefore, he isn’t able to wear other jerseys.

Alongside The Rock, actor Edward Norton was also seen wearing an iconic Manchester United shirt on Halloween. The shirt is from the 1998-99 Manchester United home shirt, that season when Manchester United won the historic triple.
