Adidas isn’t unwilling to go through its archives in the last couple of years in order to bring back some of the most beloved shirts of the past. The year before, they launched Man Utd’s 90 home and goalkeeper kits and numerous other lifestyle products and they’ve now repeated the feat.
The shirt is a replica of United’s third blue kit they used from 1998 to 1990. This shirt is only accessible on Adidas’ Malaysian website, but it’s expected to become accessible across Europe as well as other countries in the near future. You can check it out here.

It’s an official Manchester United Football Club 88-90 third jersey replica, designed by Adidas.
This Adidas Manchester United 1988-89 third shirt redesign remains faithful to the original pattern. Blue and glossy jacquard stripe design and the initials MUFC are repeated on each stripe. White piping highlights the raglan cut. It also matches the Adidas logo in the sleeves.
The neck collar that is overlapping is adorned with black and red details along the edges. it has the Adidas as well as Sharp logos and the club logo, which are appropriate for the era.
