Ibrahima Konate urges Khephren Thuram to sign with Liverpool
Liverpool Defender Ibrahima Konate has affirmed that he’s keen for France co-player Khephren Thuram to join him in Anfield and has been satisfied with the performances of Thuram in the first few games.
Konate told RMC Sport: “Khephren, is like a younger brother. I’ve watched him grow. (…) when I was the older brother of his at the academy level. I saw him perform very well and grow tremendously… It was amazing.
“Even when he was about for a visit to the French National team to play his debut cap. I was able to see him during training and was awestruck by his size and technical abilities.
“I would love to see him joining Liverpool I’d like to welcome him into my fold and will do my best to assist him in his progress. Now is his time to put in the effort. But I’ll be doing everything for him to be a world-class player. “
