Legends of football from all over the globe gathered to play an event of charity soccer in Ljubljana to collect funds to help flood victims. The game, which was arranged by Nike and was a glittering evening with retired footballers displaying all kinds of soccer shoes in the field.

Portuguese legendary Luis Figo stood out on the field in the legendary Nike Total 90 III football boots.

The Nike Total 90 Laser III boots are famous by their ingenuous blend of nylon/synthetics, leather and polymer. They’re considered to be to be the most famous boots in the Nike Total 90 Laser series. The third generation football boots feature a specifically designed upper that is made from premium, lightweight Teijin synthetic leather which is well-known for its toughness. The lacing on the side as well as the different eyelet holes create an easier surface to kick on.

Two other well-known former players, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robert Pires both wore new top football boots made by Nike and Puma in the respective. In stark contrast Germany’s Klose sporting the iconic Adidas Copa Mundial.

The thing that makes Klose’s choice of boot extraordinary is the fact that he’d been a sponsored athlete by Nike for the bulk of his professional career. Klose did not even get to sport his Nike sneakers during his time in Germany because of an unpopular boot contract in 2007. But, at the conclusion of his time as coach, he began to switch his shoes to Copa Mundial he did not want to wear when he was player.

Other soccer boots that adorned the field were those of the Nike Premier III in a classic red/white colorway and the 11pro version of Kroos however in a 14-15 black hue and the Blackout Copa Mundial, and the Adidas F50 Adizero IV from the Autumn 2013 “Brazil World Cup Heat” Samba Pack.

The match for charity was sponsored by NIKE.

The event was sponsored by Nike. The teams donned standard Nike football kits. The mid-point featured a video message from the legend Brazilian Ronaldo.

The fundraising match brought in a staggering 3.5 million euros to aid flood victims.
